On arrival you were invited to enjoy a welcome drink in our reception area, where comfy sofas are set. Breakfast and dinner can be served in the dining situated on the First floor (Bangzoe INN) Throughout the afternoon and evening a bar is available for those who wish to mix their own drinks. In our adjacent dining room you can enjoy your meals in a more communal and family like atmosphere. We offer Indian, Continental and authentic Bhutanese menu in our hotel.

A traditional Bhutanese custom is for a member of the family to prepare a morning cup of hot Bhutanese milk tea) or suja (butter tea). Please let us know if you would like to be served a morning cup of ngaja or suja in your room.

The Paro international airport is 65km away and takes 1 hour drive. We suggest that you start you trip to the airport early. in case you required our assistance at the airport or for transfer, please contact the front desk “9’ (charge applicable)

All additional incidentals will be collected and presented to you at the last day you will be
staying with us. To ensure a smooth check-out we would recommend you to settle your bills before your departure.

Due to the high altitude, the sun is relatively strong during the summer months and we would therefore recommend you carry sunscreen whenever you are outdoors.
Bhutanese are required to wear their national dress at all times, especially when visiting
monasteries or government bodies, and are proud to do so as it is a reflection of their culture and way of life. This rule does not apply to foreigners; however, admission may be refused if you are wearing clothes that expose your shoulders and legs.
OTHER SERVICES
Blessings and meditations can be arranged in our hotel or one of the Dzongs or Lhakangs around the Thimphu.
Thrisel is a one-hour blessing using holy water to cleanse the mind, spirit and soul under the guidance of a revered lama. As an ample quantity of holy water is used, the warmer months may be preferable.
Tshe-wang is a one-hour ritual to promote a long life. This elaborate ceremony involves ample prayers, mantras and final blessings using a Dorji (Thunderbolt) as well as sacred scriptures touched to the head.
Rimdro is an auspicious full day ceremony performed by 4 – 6 monks to grant a long life,
bestow prosperity, well being and the fulfillment of any personal requests. To a symphony of drums, horns, cymbals and bells, the monks will chant the holy texts and mantras. Your actual presence is only required for a short duration as the blessing continues to flow from morning to night.
